Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.

Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.
-Moon River

I didn't know it is a song this sad.
Not until I saw a friend's status in Facebook.
The song playing in youtube sang by Andy Williams made me emo a bit in a night like this.
My "a night like this" is defined as: A humid and hot night after a bath.
A night like this is supposed to make ppl feel frustrated then throw away all the notes and go straight to bed,
but then this song suddenly strucked me and BOO~~!! emo.

The verse
Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
best describes a person going through an early recovery stage of break up.
and it twinged me a bit.

Because what believe me,
I have a couple of friends going through break ups here.
The pain that they are going through,
trying very hard to live their own lifes,
and can't help much but to just being towed unwillingly away by what their ex is doing.
Trying very very very hard to prove to him/her that life without him/her will be just fine,
but internally struggling to shake themselves loose from that conscious-but-pretending-to-be-not chain of pain around them.

And deep inside, they tell themselves "Someday, I'll get this over and I'll cross over you in style!"

All the best,
and remember,
there's a friend called Carmen Tung here standing by her shoulder for all of you.
=)
