Stand By Me

this is how i define an ideal family:
a lollipop

the 20 circles on the drawing : i am 20 years old

why are those circles meeting at a point??
i hope that no matter how old am i,
no matter how far i travel,
no matter how many obstacles i met outside there,
a HOME is where i will go back to,
to tell them my problems,
to share ALL my feelings and thoughts,
somewhere i feel warm and lovely,
with someone that will help me solve my problems,
giving me opinions,
telling me what is right and what is wrong,
explain me my confusions,
and prepare me tissues for my tears.

what does that stick of the lollipop means??
no matter how old am i,
no matter how far i travel,
no matter how many obstacles i met outside there,
a HOME is where i will go back to,
to be my pillar,
to give me support,
to hold me tight in stormy days,
to straighten me up when i bend.

no shoutings, only explanations
no scoldings, only corrections
no disbeliefs, only trust

home:
there's always someone who will ask me "how was your day? everything going well?" when i come home.
"its okay, tomorrow will be a brand new day" when my day sucks.
"oh and i think tomorrow will be even better" when its a great day.


and all of these, i will consider an ideal family as lollipop.
as sweet as a lollipop.
as colourful as a lollipop.
as lovely as a lollipop.
the best thing a child can get
a great family




but why can't i feel that my family is anything like this?
